BAMSI HOSTS TCI BIRDERS
BAMSI hosts TCI Birdwatchers during Field Exchange: In a heart-warming display of cross-cultural collaboration, nature tour guides from The Bahamas and the Turks & Caicos Islands recently embarked on a transformative birdwatching exchange, aimed at strengthening their skills and expanding their understanding of the Caribbean's incredible birdlife. This exciting field exchange brought together certified Andros-based guides, bone-fishing guides from South Caicos and BAMSI students in the nature guide programme for a transformational experience.
Partnering with BAMSI to bring about the event was the National Audubon Society and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (TCI). This collaboration has also set the stage for even greater environmental awareness and action across the region. The Andros and South Caicos teams are more connected than ever, ready to share their expertise with the world while fostering a deeper understanding of the birds and ecosystems they cherish.
