New Students: Undergraduate Admissions Steps
Complete Undergraduate Admissions Application form online. Submit required documents to admissions@bamsibahamas.edu.bs.
Pay $30.00 non-refundable application fee
Submit copy of valid Certificate of Identity or copies of the pages of a valid passport showing the following: date of expiration and personal information including applicant's full name, place of birth, and date of birth
Submit copy of affidavit or marriage certificate (only if name used on passport or Certificate of identity differs from that on academic certificate or other documents);
Submit copy of Immigration documents (if not a Bahamian citizen)
Submit official High school transcript
Send official College/University Transcript(s) - from all postsecondary institutions attended (official transcript(s) must be mailed from the institution issuing the transcripts to Admissions. If hand delivered, the transcript must be in the original stamped and sealed envelope by the forwarding institution.
Transfer students: Submit course outlines of courses taken while enrolled at any previous College/University. Please note that in order to receive transfer of credits in a timely manner, official transcript(s) and course outline(s) must be in the Office of the Institute no later than eight (8) weeks after the Application Deadlines according to applied semester;
Submit certified copy of academic certificates (BJC, BGCSE, IB, AP, CXC, SAT), diplomas and degrees. When sending your AP or SAT Score or Publications please use our Designated Institution (DI) code which is 7525
Register for Placement Exams if you do not meet the minimum Math and English requirements.
Send Admissions Essay outlining future goals and plans
TWO letters of recommendation: from a teacher/professor, employer or a community leader
Police Record (no older than 6 months)
(2) Recent Color passport photos
Copy of NIB (front & back)if applicable
When your application is processed, you will receive an email with further instructions and/or your acceptance letter. If you have not received confirmation, check your Spam folder or Trash or contact Admissions Office.
